Bachelor of Religious Studies
The Bachelor of Religious Studies program requires 120 semester hour credits. Thirty (30) of these must be taken with NU and must include all the credits specified for the Certificate (see Certificate in Religious Studies, above). A minimum of 27 additional credits must be in the following disciplines: communications, English, mathematics, science, and social science. Thirty (30) more religious studies credits must include courses in worldview, ministry, worship, and two courses that exegete individual biblical books.
A student completing the Bachelor of Religious Studies program should be able to:
(1) Understand principles of biblical scripture along with practical application to current time
(2) Communicate proficiently in English and is literate in General Education disciplines
(3) Demonstrate skills necessary for further religious studies and training

Students who registered prior to January 1, 2009 may complete the degree under requirements in effect when they registered. These are displayed in the curriculum assigned to their username. Students may opt for later requirement upon demand.
