Policy for Proctoring Exams
Thank you for your willingness to serve as a proctor for NationsUniversity. Your primary responsibility will be administering exams for your students. The guidelines have been set by the university regarding exams. If you have questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us at registrar@nationsu.org. • Student presents proctor with government-issued picture ID for verification.

• Proctor opens exam for student, using passwords provided by NU.

• Proctor remains with student during exam according to terms of the Proctor Agreement
• Students are not allowed to use textbooks, syllabi, or notes when taking exams. (There are a few exceptions to this. Proctors and students should carefully read the instructions at the top of each exam.)
• Students should have no contact with any exam until they have studied the material and are prepared to sit for the exam.
• Exams should never be used as study guides nor should a proctor prepare study guides for their students using exams in their possession.
• If students are taking exams in a group setting, there is to be no communication between students, no sharing of answers, and no assistance to any student by the proctor.
• Proctors found to be in violation of any NationsUniversity policy or any of the guidelines in this document will first be issued a warning. Failure to comply following a warning will result in the proctor being asked to dismissal.
• Students who do not comply with the policies and guidelines of NationsUniversity will first be issued a warning. Failure to comply following a warning will result in expulsion.
